Program

Scientific program

As in Barcelona the goal is to have a good mix of approaches (econ, CS and sociology) to the analysis allocation procedures in educational contexts, as well as a focus session on a more policy-oriented topic. The topic for this focus session is still to be decided and we welcome suggestions. Eric Budish (Chicago Booth) will be our keynote speaker.

Exact schedule and logistics

The workshop will start on Monday 12:30 pm with a lunch, giving you time to travel from your city of origin. The workshop will end at 12:30 pm on Tuesday. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for all speakers and for participants without access to other sources of funding. Note that Monday May 20 is a holiday in many European countries.

Note also Eric Budish will give the regular economics seminar at ULB/ECARES at 2 pm on Tuesday May 21 if you are interested in staying a bit longer to listen to his talk (that second talk will not be about matching, but market design for financial markets he told me).
